Coach Tom Miller is still in golf

 

Coach Tom Miller played 3 sports at the University of Louisiana-Monroe, including being an all-conference selection in golf in 1967. He was elected to the Athletic Hall of Fame in 1983. In 2000, Tom was chosen by Birmingham-Southern College (BSC) to start its NCAA Division I men’s and women’s golf programs. At BSC, he was named 2003 Women’s National Coach of the Year for Independent Colleges and Universities. His men’s and women’s teams provided numerous tournament victories and individual medalists’ awards, including three all-conference players, two NCAA Division I All-America Scholars, one ESPN Academic All-American and one Big South Conference Freshman of the Year.

Tom has traveled all over the country watching and recruiting college golfers and is an excellent resource to individuals aspiring to college golf.

He has now relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area and, through collegegolf101.com, is helping high school kids realize their dream of college golf. He is connecting with top private schools such as Cambrian International Academy to make their sports advisory programs complete.

College sports and the recruiting process that goes with them have turned out to be outrageously competitive. But there remain opportunities for students who take a specific approach to getting noticed early on. Choosing a high school that will assist students in a unique approach is crucial to securing the best opportunities in college sports.
