Rock Meshes with Recovery Like Glue
Electro-rock has always been darker, more negative, but that is evolving. There is this sick recovery rock I saw by Matt Soren that has a unique twist on alternative rock. His project is a mix of recovery music and the process of beating addiction.
There are some songs at his URL at www.returnfrombroken.com. It sounds like they are temporary while finishing final tracks. They sound clean to me but I am no audiophile. It is cool to find more industrial rock like this written directly for addiction help in a more aggressive way from an addict that has had the experience and is making an impact for others. Also It’s nice to have this type of music arising from the industrial scene which is normally darker in nature. Very cool.
Oh yeah, he has free tracks you can get from his website and more in his insiders area which is free. I also saw discount passes, wallpaper, and other downloads. It will be nice to hear the album once it is finished. Thanks for listening to me ramble, hope you enjoyed it!
